Lemon batteries that light up an LED, Electric motor, Circuits that are inductively coupled and the display of a human gene are all part of the Science Exhibition held at St Sophias Girls High School. The chief guest at the exhibition was the Minister for Science and Technology who was impressed with the way the exhibition was conducted. In an interview by a student journalist to what he liked about the exhibition, his answer was I cant believe the kind of inventions the children can come up with. Weve got budding scientists out here and I intend sponsoring an amount to encourage all our young scientists and the school for putting up a wonderful show.

The science teacher said that the students had worked hard over the entire month trying to research on the topics assigned to them. A Science exhibition is a display of the best of scientific inventions in which students get a better scope to exhibit their intelligence, depth of knowledge and also get the chance to know more about their zone of interest. With the help of such exhibitions, students get to know if science is really a suitable subject for them or not. They also get to know of the area of interest. In science exhibitions, students are given the task to work on different projects that are based on science. They make their projects and make their presentations through power point or while others learn up the description and explain it verbally.

They are given marks with the help of which they are promoted for the next level of the exhibition which can be of the district, state or national level. In India, every year February 28th is observed as the National Science Day and it has proved to be a good opportunity for different schools to support science education and its communication in the country which coincides with Sir C.V Ramans birthday. In 1930, Sir C.V. was honored with noble prize for physics for discovering the Raman Effect. After the country got its independence, the Government of India appointed him as the first National Professor. Science day is celebrated every year with a motive that everybody should remember C. V. Ramans contribution to the country and also as a way of paying respect and honor to the great soul. Science and technology have become one of the most important pillars of the economy of the country.

Technology has made changes in the business models of the companies throughout the world. The concept of science exhibitions has been imbibed from the European education pattern and their culture. In almost every school, science exhibitions are held every year or even half yearly. Such exhibitions are organized by the schools just to encourage the students for research work and make them enthusiastic. In such exhibitions, the work of the teachers is to collect all the names of the students who are interested in participating in it and will make a project that is based on science and technology. Such exhibitions provide the students with a great platform to exhibit their creative work. It gives the children a feeling to involve themselves more in such projects and also gives them the courage to make presentations of their projects.

Epidemiologists and environmental health researchers have a joint responsibility to acquire scientific knowledge that matters to public health and to apply the knowledge gained in public health practice. We examine the nature and source of these social responsibilities, discuss a debate in the epidemiological literature on roles and responsibilities, and cite approaches to environmental justice as reflective of them. At one level, responsibility refers to accountability, as in being responsible for actions taken. A deeper meaning of responsibility corresponds to commitment to the pursuit and achievement of a valued end

Public health ethics is on the map. In the past year, bioethicists and public health practitioners have begun to focus their critical attention on this complex and understudied topic. Much remains to be done. Childress et al. (2002), for example, describe their account of public health ethics as a rough conceptual map of a terrain with undefined boundaries.

Our focus will be on the responsibilities of epidemiologists, a choice made for several compelling reasons. Epidemiology sits at the center of the science and practice of environmental health, and more generally, at the center of public health. Although it is often referred to as a basic science of public health, epidemiology connects the acquisition of scientific knowledge with its application in preventive interventions, programs, and policies. This connection suggests a fundamental question: What are our responsibilities as epidemiologists? Do we, for example, have a joint responsibility to participate in science and to apply the knowledge gained? This is a key concern for us as researchers, health professionals, and as teachers.

The social responsibility of public health professionals is but one of many concerns in the broader picture of public health ethics. It is nevertheless a central concern. As Ogletree (1996) reminds us, responsibility is a concept particularly well suited to flame many key aspects of the ethics of professions faced with making decisions and taking actions in complex situations. These decisions often involve advanced technologies, high levels of specialization, and overlapping areas of expertise and concern among decision makers from diverse educational, political, and social backgrounds, precisely the situation in contemporary epidemiology and public health. In sum, responsibility organizes many (although not all) of public health’s ethical issues in terms appropriate for professional practitioners.

Responsibility has a deeper meaning as well, corresponding to commitment. To be responsible means to be committed to someone or to some thing. Being responsible in this deeper sense involves a commitment to positive action, to the pursuit and achievement of something of value, such as a social good (Jonas 1984). We will return to the notion of social goods in public health. For now, we want to emphasize that responsibility focuses attention on professional commitments

Finally, our inquiry is intended to assist all public health researchers who seek to define their social responsibilities. For those who are involved primarily in environmental health research, we can think of at least two connected and current topics–environmental justice and community-based participatory research.

Music science fair projects are chosen by students who have a love of the universal language that we all call music. The most creative students will choose music science fair projects to investigate the various topics surrounding the production and enjoyment of music. The first category of music science fair projects will focus on different ways to produce the tones that human being consider musical. This may include an investigation of the sounds of music from different cultures. Included in this are the unique instruments found around the world. Additionally, this may investigate the rhythms that different cultures gravitate toward. These types of music science fair projects will also demonstrate the creativity of students as they develop their own mechanisms for making musical tones. The most popular of these are crystal containers filled with various depths of water.

The other group of students presenting music science fair projects may focus on the effects that music has on people. Instead of examining the instruments, these students will explore the old adage that music hath charms to sooth the savage breast. There are still research studies being conducted on the soothing effects of music on various demographics of people as well as different animal and plant life. These students who present demonstrations and research findings on this data also increase everyones understanding and appreciation for the universal language of music.

The competition in education is growing day by day, and therefore, there is a furore of coaching centers. One can also see an inflow of coaching centers in west Delhi because of which it is becoming a new educational hub. Earlier, the students used to aim for decent marks and thus relied on the self-study. However, now in the age of competition, one cannot aim for a mediocre result. They have to be the best among the rest. Therefore, to achieve their goals by getting those extra marks, one must take proper guidance and coaching. Today the education in schools does not satisfy the needs of a student. In 11th and 12th one wants to get the maximum marks so he or she can get admission in the best colleges. Therefore, attending coaching classes is becoming a need to gain good marks, and survive the competition. There are coaching centers for both commerce and science stream, and in addition prepare students for entrance exams like, BBA, Engg, and Medical. They provide mock exam papers and prepare them for a particular pattern of questions that regularly features in the exam. Not all this happens in school, and so coaching makes students better prepared. Coaching centers use special teaching methods and try to increase the interactions with students. This in turn makes students confident enough to put up their doubts easily. In addition, coaching centre induces a study timetable into the students life, thus motivates them to study harder.

However, one should keep following in mind before opting for a coaching center:

1. As coaching is becoming a business, one must opt for a coaching center which provides best value for money.

2. Coaching centers are also becoming a place for hanging out with friends, so one must take care about that.

3. In addition, with the constant mushrooming of the new coaching center one must ensure about the quality of education.

Therefore, with the advantages, coaching centers have few disadvantages as well. However, the advantages overshadow them and coaching centers turn out to be the real need to achieve success during this educational competitiveness. And so, with an increase in coaching centers in west Delhi, parents are getting more choices of coaching centers for their children. Here one can easily find coaching centers preparing students for their 11th and 12th grade besides providing right guidance for their careers. Thereby, there is no need for parents to send their kids faraway for the proper coaching, because now they can get the same quality nearby their home.
